• NEW!! Andrew Simpson performs a concert of his silent film music in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 14.  The concert, held in the Sala Cecelia Meireles, was enthusiastically received by the large audience in attendance.  
  
   
• Red Cedar Trio announces its latest recording, a complete disc of Simpson's music! Fireflies: Chamber Music by Andrew Earle Simpson, released on Fleur de Son Classics in April 2009.
  
   
• Silent Explosions, Invisible Jumps: Simpson directs a multimedia performance event with silent film, dance, and music at Catholic University on March 11.  New music by CUA composers, new choreography and dance, music performed by the Snark Ensemble.
  
   
• Lost and Found: The Harry Langdon Collection, a DVD box set containing seven new silent film scores by Andrew Simpson, was released in Dec. 2007.  The DVD set is a New York Times "Critics' Pick," and has received much critical acclaim.  Click here to view selected reviews.
