Truman Harris (M.M., The Catholic University of America, B.A., University of North Texas) is the Assistant Principal bassoonist with the National Symphony Orchestra. His major bassoon teachers have included Loren Glickman, Gerald Corey, Wilfred Roberts and Kenneth Pasmanick. Prior to joining the National Symphony Orchestra, he was a bassoonist with the Fort Worth Symphony and principal bassoonist with the US Air Force Band. In the Washington area he regularly performs with the Capitol Woodwind Quintet and Eclipse Chamber Orchestra, and is an instructor at The Catholic University of America.
