Artistic Staff and Personnel

JENNIFER SEIGHMAN, Conductor
A fourth year doctoral student in Sacred Music at the Catholic University of America, Ms. Seighman possesses an extensive background as a conductor, organist, vocalist, and music educator. While earning her Bachelor of Music Education degree magna cum laude at Westminster Choir College, she served as a conducting intern with the Westminster Conservatory Chorale in addition to receiving the Junior Organ Scholarship and the Music Generativity Award in Music Education. After teaching choral music in the NJ public school system for five years, Ms. Seighman pursued the Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Oklahoma where she served as the graduate assistant to the Director of Graduate Choral Activities. While in Oklahoma, she was a selected vocalist with the Bach Chamber Choir series at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City as well as the guest conductor of the Fauré Requiem organized by the university's Catholic campus ministry at St. Thomas More Church in commemoration of Pope John Paul II. Ms. Seighman is a recipient of the 2008 NPM Members' Scholarship, the 2007 Oregon Catholic Press Scholarship, and the 2006 GIA Pastoral Musician Scholarship through the National Association of Pastoral Musicians as well as the Magi Carrigan Foundation Scholarship from the Catholic University of America. Currently serving as Organist and Choirmaster, Ms. Seighman leads a dynamic sacred music program at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in Garrett Park, MD.

YOUNG-HYE PARK, Accompanist
Pianist Young-Hye Park was born in Seoul, South Korea. Receiving her Master's degree in Choral Conducting from Yon-sei University in Korea, Ms. Park recently earned a second Master's degree in Chamber Music and Piano from The Catholic University of America. In her native Korea, Ms. Park gained broad experience in accompanying, conducting, and singing. As a permanent resident in the U.S., she is pursuing a career as a collaborative pianist. Ms. Park is currently accompanist at the Berwyn Baptist Church.
