The CUA Town & Gown Community Chorus is
seeking singers for its 2008-09 season!
Interested in choral music? Want to learn to sing better? Looking for a fun way to meet and interact with people from the CUA and local DC community? The Town and Gown Singers is CUA's community chorus, offering students, faculty, staff, alumni, and local DC community members a chance to experience choral music of many styles. It's a fantastic way to get free vocal instruction and no auditions are required.
Now in its 8th season, Town and Gown is anticipating an exciting and spectacular year of choral music. The chorus presents two major concerts each year, in addition to performing at various city events. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 6:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. in the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music Building (Ward Hall) on The Catholic University of America campus. The first rehearsal of the spring season will be on Tuesday, January 13.
Come, be a part of extending the outreach of CUA to the local community as it strives to deepen and enrich lives through contact with the choral art. For more information about the group or to find out how to join, please contact the director,
