Publications Related to CANTUS

Some CANTUS indices have been published in book form:

Each book includes an introduction that describes the manuscript and certain features of the chants it contains. Additional volumes in preparation include indices of Paris, Bibliothèque nationale, lat. 15181 and 15182 (introduction by Rebecca A. Baltzer). The publisher of the series is The Institute of Mediaeval Music, 1270 Lampman Crescent, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K2C 1P8; the volume containing the Sarum antiphons was published by the Plainsong and Mediaeval Music Society (London) and the Bamberg index is available from the project director.

Some CANTUS indices may be utilized in conjunction with facsimile reproductions of the corresponding manuscripts:
