Robert Grogan, (D.M.A., The Catholic University of America; M.M., B.M., University of Kansas;), lecturer and faculty adviser in organ. Organist and carillonneur of the Basilica of The National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Has performed as organ and carillon recitalist in the United States, Canada, and Europe; served as dean of the District of Columbia chapter of the American Guild of Organists and as Board of Trustees chair of the District of Columbia American Guild of Organists Foundation; and made recordings on the organ and carillon of The National Shrine for both American and English recording companies. Recipient of the 1983 medal of the University of California (Berkeley) "for distinguished service to the carillon." Composer of Variations on "Morning Song," published in Washington Organ Book (1992) and "Gabriel's Message" for Choir and Organ (2001).
