Choir members from the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music will join the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by internationally renowned music director, Gustavo Dudamel, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, to perform Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony on April 26, 2018 in an event sponsored by the Washington Performing Arts.

The School of Music mourns the loss of the esteemed scholar of Mexican music, Dr. Robert Parker, who donated many of his research materials to Catholic U. and to the Latin American Music Center of the School of Music. Prof. Parker was a retired member of the faculty of the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami in Florida.  Please click here for his complete obituary.
